🗓️ Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve
Your safari adventure begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi, heading north towards Samburu National Reserve. The scenic drive takes you past lush highlands and the equator line at Nanyuki before descending into the semi-arid region of Samburu. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge or camp, followed by an afternoon game drive. Look out for the unique northern species like Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, and gerenuk, collectively known as the Samburu Special Five.

🗓️ Day 2: Full Day in Samburu
Spend the day exploring the reserve with morning and afternoon game drives. Samburu’s rugged landscape, Ewaso Nyiro River, and diverse wildlife offer excellent photographic opportunities. You may spot lions, elephants, leopards, and a variety of birdlife. Between game drives, relax at your lodge and soak in the wild beauty around you.

🗓️ Day 3: Samburu – Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru via the equator crossing and through the Great Rift Valley. Arrive in time for lunch at the lodge, followed by an afternoon game drive in the park. Lake Nakuru is famous for its large populations of flamingos, rhinos (both black and white), Rothschild giraffes, and tree-climbing lions.

🗓️ Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara National Reserve
Have breakfast and then head southwards to the iconic Masai Mara. You’ll arrive in time for lunch at your lodge or camp, followed by an exciting afternoon game drive in the vast savannah, home to the Big Five and the Great Migration (seasonal). Watch for prides of lions, herds of elephants, and cheetahs hunting on the plains.

🗓️ Day 5: Full Day in Masai Mara
Enjoy a full day in the Masai Mara with early morning and late afternoon game drives. Optionally, you may include a hot air balloon safari at sunrise followed by a champagne bush breakfast. The Mara’s abundance of wildlife and dramatic landscapes make for a truly unforgettable safari experience.

🗓️ Day 6: Masai Mara – Lake Naivasha
Depart the Masai Mara after breakfast and drive to Lake Naivasha, one of Kenya’s freshwater lakes nestled in the Great Rift Valley. Arrive in time for lunch and later enjoy a relaxing boat ride on the lake, where you’ll spot hippos, birds, and beautiful landscapes. Optionally, you can visit Crescent Island for a guided walking safari.

🗓️ Day 7: Lake Naivasha – Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Amboseli National Park, with lunch en route or at the lodge depending on timing. Arrive in Amboseli in the afternoon for a short game drive. Enjoy your first views of elephants walking beneath the towering backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

🗓️ Day 8: Full Day in Amboseli
Spend the day exploring Amboseli, renowned for its large elephant herds and stunning views of Africa’s highest mountain. Morning and afternoon game drives provide great chances to see buffalo, zebras, giraffes, lions, and an array of birds. Relax at your lodge during the heat of the day, taking in the incredible views.

 Day 9: Amboseli – Nairobi (Departure)
After a relaxed breakfast, check out and drive back to Nairobi with an optional stop for lunch on the way. Upon arrival, you'll be dropped off at your hotel or at the airport for your onward flight, marking the end of your unforgettable 9-day Kenya safari.
